Центральная Азия на сегодняшний день сталкивается с острыми проблемами, связанными с водными ресурсами, среди которых - водный дефицит, ухудшение качества воды и неэффективное её использование. Изменение климата может еще более усугубить сложившеесю ситуацию. Эти трудности можно преодолеть только объединив усилия всех центрально-азиатских государств.
Целью проекта CAWa является оказание содействия центрально-азиатским государствам в создании научно обоснованной и достоверной региональной базы данных для разработки устойчивой стратегии управления водными ресурсами.
7th Tashkent Water Security Lectures
The event, Tashkent Water Security Lectures (TWSL), took place for the 7th time on the 16th of July, 2024, at the Uzbek Embassy in Berlin. The event was titled: “Water Resources in Central Asia: Integration of Scientific Knowledge to Support Policy Dialogue and Climate Change Adaptation.”

The latest installment of the Tashkent Water Security Lectures (TWSL), the sixth in the series, was held in person at the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers institute” (TIIAME), Uzbekistan.
