Meeting took place at the historical library at GFZ on the 17th of November 2021 and it was followed by an overview of water and climate-related activities of CAWa-Green in Kazakhstan, as well as the current situation of the collaboration with Kazakh partners in the region.  A lively discussion was ended with a mutual agreement on the necessity and motivation for the future strengthening of cooperation between CAWa-Green Project and Kazakhs research institutes, governmental bodies and hydro-meteorological services with full support from the Kazakh Embassy.

Besides colleagues from GFZ Potsdam, also project partners from the University of Halle-Wittenberg attended the meeting in online format.
