DLR visits SIC ICWC in Tashkent
Between 23 and 24 September 2009, representatives of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) met Prof. Dr. Dukhovny, director of the Scientific-Information Center of the Interstate Commission on Water Coordination in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
During this meeting first ideas for collaboration in remote sensing and information systems were exchanged. At that occasion DLR representatives had the opportunity to demonstrate a prototype of a web-based DLR information system that includes remote sensing information at different spatial scales, text documents, and statistics. The IT-staff of SIC-ICWC demonstrated their regional information system CAREWIB and potentials for collaboration were discussed.
